The Asian American Population in Dallas

In 2000, there were 414,000 Asian Americans living and working in the Dallas area, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Today, there are more than 16 Asian nationalities in the Dallas area, comprising close to a half-million Asian Americans living and working in the area:

Religious Centers

Dallas has churches, synagogues, temples and mosques for nearly every religious preference. You might be surprised to know that our religious community offers:

  • Over 100 Korean churches and approximately 40 Chinese churches.
  • 14 Buddhist Centers
  • Over 20 mosques, with the newest under construction.
  • Four temples are worship centers for the area's Hindus.
